Show Rural 2025 was the scene of major debates on the future of agribusiness, and ZAAMP had the honor of welcoming two leading academics from Unioeste to its stand: professor and scientist Reginaldo Ferreira Santos, director of the Center for Technological Innovations, and Regina Ubial, who is studying for a master’s degree in Agricultural Energy Engineering. Both spoke about the positive impacts of ZAAMP extruders on the sustainable production of soybean meal and oil.
During the conversation with the inventor of the ZAAMP Grain Extruders, Paulo Roberto Galvão, the scholars pointed out that the technology eliminates the use of chemical products in soybean processing, guaranteeing 100% natural and highly nutritious bran and vegetable oil for animal nutrition. In addition, they highlighted the importance of the extrusion process in reducing environmental impact, since it provides greater use of the grains and less waste generation.
Another point raised was the autonomy that ZAAMP extruders give rural producers, eliminating dependence on external suppliers and allowing soy to be processed directly on the farm. As a result, production costs are reduced and sustainability becomes a reality, as there is better use of resources and a smaller environmental footprint.
This visit reinforces the importance of the partnership between Unioeste and agribusiness, promoting innovations that make the countryside more productive and sustainable.
